The Foundation’s goals and objectives include:

  • Ensuring the security of new and existing communities that continue to grow in size and population
  • Improving the overall quality of life in the areas of education, health, culture, and social well-being for all inhabitants of the region
  • Promoting economic development in the region and building communities
  • Stabilizing the local economy by creating and supporting viable enterprises
  • Supporting critically important research in desert agriculture, benefiting the expanding population of the region
  • Promoting connections between the Negev region and the rest of the world

The Negev Foundation will continue to address the ever-growing demands for quality of life and economic opportunities in the Negev. As a dynamic organization, the Negev Foundation is constantly evolving and expanding its scope to meet the challenges of this developing region with innovative and creative solutions. We can immediately mobilize to address a problem efficiently and effectively because of our original objective and goals, and because our donors recognize and understand the need for this flexibility. When opportunities present themselves, we are ready. Israel is dynamic in the same way— there are always new people making Israel their home.
